Now available from the New BINDMASTER perfect
binder is designed to process small and medium sized runs in a quick and professional way. The BINDMASTER is immediately operational with no set up whichever the documents thickness.

Command Panel
Operator terminal with screen enabling to select the different functions and to modify parameters.

Loading Station
Equipped with in-built jogger with automatic stop.
Pneumatic tightening of the clamp (carriage cart) without any setting whichever the book thickness.

Milling / Notching and Gluing
The Milling and notching area is adjustable in height without the need of any tool.
It prepares the spine (back) of the document. The gluing is done by a large diameter roll which is heated, and rotates in the opposite direction as the document carrier.
The setting of the gluing length at both ends of the glue application is automatic (cell).

Information Display
The operator terminal shows the parameters which are programmed along with the various conditions of the machine (example: cover feeder empty, etc.).
4 programs enable to memorise the most frequent jobs/sizes thereby enhancing productivity.

Automatic Cover Feeder and Clamping Station. Suction feeder. Automatic and precice positionning of the cover according to the data provided by the comand panel.
Pneumatic clamping without adjustment.
Automatic pre-setting of the clamp “jaw” according to the document thickness.

Automatic Outfeed
2 types of outfeed are available :
- standard motorised horizontal delivery with step advance belt,
- vertical outfeed for increased capacity

The BINDMASTER produces excellent quality brochures and books at a theoretical speed of 550 cycles/hour. The pneumatic technology used within the BINDMASTER enables to avoid numerous electrical and mechanical devices thereby minimising maintenance needs and set-up times on this perfect binder.

Activa DPs now also offers a special, programmable, and versatile creasing device which can be added to the BINDMASTER perfect binder –this option can be retrofitted. This easy to set automatic pre-creaser module is particularly useful to offer quality book cover presentation with various printing technologies, and namely digital prints (see dedicated specification sheet for this valuable BINDMASTER option).

The thermal binding cover with slipcase, what is it?
