The PUR ( polyurethane adhesive ) version of BindMaster is mainly intended for difficult jobs (digital printing on high paper weights, coated papers, opposing fibres). It goes without saying that the results on ordinary types of paper are excellent !

BindMaster uses Nordson technology ( VERSA PAIL reservoir-drain and EP 48 VSB nozzle ).
The polyurethane adhesives are based on reactive high-polymers and isocyanates which cause the adhesive film to cross-link when the paper comes into contact with the surrounding air and humidity. Their levels of performance are much higher than that of EVA
( resistance to tearing, solvents, inks, heat ...).

BindMaster is a highly-automated single-grip device, intended for small and medium job runs.
It is especially suitable when changes of format and thickness are frequent.
Its fast deployment makes it the ideal machine for large binding jobs, e.g. producing pilot editions of books.

Cover Feeder & Scoring Unit

Integrated scoring system
Adjustable-pressure pneumatic system based on the principle of scoring by embossing ( blade / anvil ), so preventing cracks during folding.
Up to 6 grooves positioned automatically according to the thickness bound.
Adhesion system

BindMaster uses the EP 48 VSB nozzle fed by the Nordson VERSA PAIL reservoir-drain system.
This nozzle self-adjusts according to the thickness and length of the binding in the machine's carriage.
The same applies to the volume of adhesive delivered (controlling the evenness of the adhesive film when the bound thickness varies).
The EP 48 VSB uses a side-adhesion system and pressure-controlled glue return at the fastening.

Touch-screen control

All the functions of the binder, the nozzle and the reservoir-drain are controlled from the BindMaster's touch-sensitive screen.
Twenty programmes enable storage of the parameters of different jobs, thereby ensuring very rapid deployment.
